Waljis Travel Bureau scoops 2011-2012 South African Tourism“Outstanding Agent in East Africa and Middle East Travel & Tourism Award

During the recent INDABA– Tourism Marketing Event that took place in Durban, South Africa, whereAgents from World over attended, South African Tourism hosted top CEO’sfor breakfast where many Travel Partners were recognised, Waljis Travel Bureauemerged the outstanding winner.

It was indeed a proud momentfor Waljis Travel Bureau Ltd of Dar es Salaam when it was awarded with “OUTSTANDINGAGENT IN EAST AFRICA & MIDDLE EAST” Travel & Tourism Awardfor the year 2011 - 2012.

Indaba is one of the largest tourism marketing events on the African calendar and one of the top three‘ must visit’ events of its kind on the global calendar. It is a showcase of the widest variety of Southern Africa's best tourism products, and it attracts International visitors and media from across the world. It is a platform where trade, media and product owners can network and build good relationships with Southern Africa products.

The Award was received by Mr Susai Nathan – Business Development Manager for its Leisure wing – Karibu Holidays Ltd. Speaking to this paper, an all smiling Susai said, I was honoured to receive the award for Waljis Travel- CWT at a huge gathering of more than 400 high level delegates, who included Ambassadors and CEO's from the travel and tourism industry. The award included a certificate and plaque. Indeed greatest moment of my life to represent I Group at this huge gathering.”

Not so long ago, the Leisure Wing of Waljis Travel Bureau, Karibu Holidays came up with the helicopter package which drove people crazy during Valentine. Last year the same company, Waljis Travel Bureau received an appreciation award from Emirates Airline in Dubai for their continued support to the airline.
